LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are looking for a group of thieves who stole a woman’s wallet at a south Lincoln grocery store last month.

On Aug. 3, a man bumped into a woman’s shopping cart at Super Saver near 27th Street and Pine Lake Road.

When she went to pay for her groceries, she noticed her wallet was gone.

Security video captured a man and a female following the victim while in the store.  After bumping into the victim’s cart, the couple left the store, police said.

Investigators shared photos of the two suspected thieves, who were both wearing masks.

The victim later received alerts showing that someone tried using her credit cards at Sam’s Club and Best Buy.  Two women were captured on security video attempting to use the stolen cards.

Police think this might be a traveling group, but someone may have seen them at a hotel or restaurant while in Lincoln.

Officers are also searching for a motorcyclist who sped off from two traffic stops on O Street on Sunday.

The motorcyclist was spotted “riding recklessly” on his bike without any plates or in-transit tags, according to police.

Police say the biker is a white man, who was wearing a light-tan hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and Nike shoes.  He also has tattoos on his left forearm.

Anyone with information on either case is asked to call police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
