Third person arrested in October shooting that injured four in downtown Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Another man is facing several felonies in an October shooting that injured four people in downtown Lincoln.

Alvin Jones Jr., 25, was lodged Monday in the Lancaster County Jail, according to booking records.  An arrest warrant was issued for Jones last week.

He is charged with four counts of second-degree assault, use of a firearm to commit a felony and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

An arrest affidavit was not yet available.

On Oct. 20 around 12:45 a.m., officers were sent to 14th and O streets on a report of a shooting, the Lincoln Police Department said.

They found one victim at 13th and O streets with an injury that was not life-threatening, according to police.

Three other victims arrived at a local hospital shortly after.  They had injuries that were not life-threatening.

Teethloach Biel, 17, and Chudier Tut, 20, have also been arrested in the shooting.

Both have been charged with a slew of felonies, including second-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
