Nebraska Community Blood Bank is offering donors a chance to win a $100

Donors are urgently needed due to a critical shortage of all blood types. This shortage is anticipated to
continue over the fourth of July holiday.

It is challenging to get enough blood donors during the summer months, when schools are out of session,
families take vacation, and donors are enjoying the weather. The fourth of July holiday results in many donors
missing their regular appointments or being unavailable to donate. However, the need for blood doesn’t take a
summer vacation, and Nebraska Community Blood Bank needs over 1,000 donors to step up every week to
maintain a steady blood supply for local hospitals.

Visit NCBB.ORG to review eligibility guidelines and make an appointment at your nearest donor center or at one
of the following public blood drives. While walk-in donors are always welcome, we encourage donors to make
appointments in advance.
