Thomas Copeland leads Lincoln Parkview Christian in blowout of Santee
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Parkview Christian beat the Santee Warriors 58-33 on Friday to bounce back from a crushing defeat in Week 1.
Parkview started with an easy walk-in touchdown by Thomas Copeland.
Copeland got his second touchdown of the game just two minutes into the first quarter off a returned interception.
The Patriots kept it rolling with another big play from, guess who, Thomas Copeland.
He took it to the house for a 40-yard touchdown run, bringing the score to 20-0.
Eventually, the Warriors decided it was their turn, and quarterback Christian Torrez threw a nice pass on the run to Isaiah Yellow-Cloud for a touchdown.
But their momentum didn’t last long, as Copeland ripped off another 45-plus yard touchdown run off a pitch for his fourth TD of the game, making the score 28-6.
While Santee continued to return fire, Parkview didn’t take its foot off the gas.
