Thomasbrook Apartment Donation Information
An apartment fire at the Thomasbrook Apartments on Saturday has left 24 families without a home. Lincoln Fire and Rescue reported an improperly disposed cigerette is the cause of the fire and say damage to the building and its contents is estimated at nearly three-million dollars. The Red Cross is assisting victims of the fire. Assistance is based on the needs of the family and includes providing temporary shelter, food, clothing, assistance with medication, and mental health support.

Also, Thomasbrook Apartments will be accepting donations of furniture, clothing, and food that can be dropped off at their club house located on 59th and Van Dorn. Also, monitary donations can be dropped off at any US Bank location.
