UPDATE: Power restored to most homes

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Roughly 1,700 Lincolnites are without power as of Sunday afternoon.

According to the LES outage map,

Area Affected: S 20TH ST – S 33RD ST / VAN DORN ST – S/O HWY 2
Time of Outage: 11/08/2020 12:41 PM
Customers Out: 1,711

According to officials with LES, the strong winds blew a tree limb over onto a power line near 27th and Highway 2 causing the outage.
