Police arrested three people in connection with multiple early morning burglaries Tuesday.
Police say the would–be victim heard a crash in his home. When he went to find out what it was, he found an unknown man standing in his bedroom. Police say the suspect then jumped out of a window of the home near 52nd and Benton streets.
The resident followed the burglar and found another unknown man standing in his yard. Police say the two suspects ran from the home in a red Jeep, driven by a woman.
“The description of that Jeep went out over the Police radio and Officer Mike Schaaf spotted that car at 10th and O streets,” says Officer Katie Flood, Lincoln Police Department.
Police say the three people in the Jeep matched the descriptions. Police say the three suspects had robbed two other houses that morning taking a little more than 5,000 dollars in electronics and jewelry.
42–year old Laura Saltzman, 25-year old Clevone Furby and 23-year old Joshua Tackett were cited for burglary.
