Three car accident at 42nd and Randolph

A headon collison earlier this morning sent 3 people to the hospital.

The accident happened shortly before 9:30am.

The two cars hit each other after one car drifted into the lane of the other cars.

Captain Dean Delany with Lincoln Fire and Rescue said, "We arrived on location and there was a head-on collision. There was a total of three passengers that were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries."

All three people will be ok, but both cars got pretty banged up.

The scene is now clear.
