Three caught with fentanyl in overdose death investigation in Lincoln, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Three people were arrested Saturday after an investigation into an overdose death in Lincoln, police say.
On Saturday, officers found a 23-year-old man dead in his bedroom at a home in northwest Lincoln. Police said the man had overdosed on fentanyl.
During an investigation, officers found three people – Aidan Glenn, 23; Michael Smith, 30; and Wren Chamberlain, 21 – in two vehicles near 48th and Holdrege streets.
Officers searched the vehicles and found 47 suspected fentanyl pills, a bottle of promethazine DM syrup and $3,782 in cash.
Police said the three had given the victim fentanyl. All three were arrested on suspicion of felony drug charges.
