Three from Lincoln area killed in head-on crash in northern Kansas

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Three people from the Lincoln area were killed Wednesday in a crash in northern Kansas.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 1:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 24, just north of Lawrence.

A GMC Sierra was heading east when it was hit head-on by a Kia Soul, according to the patrol.

Three people in the Kia — Ronald Milano, 70; Joshua Milano, 39; and Patricia Milano, 33 — were killed in the crash.

Ronald is from Bennet, and Joshua and Patricia are from Lincoln.

Ronald was wearing a seat belt. The patrol is unsure if Joshua and Patricia were wearing seat belts.
