Three Lincoln park, trailhead parking lots set to close for gravel resurfacing

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department on Monday announced the temporary closure of three park and trailhead parking lots.
Starting Tuesday, the parking lot at the Jamaica North Trailhead near 25th Street and Saltillo Road will close for gravel resurfacing.
The project is expected to be completed by Thursday.
Trail users can park in the Wilderness Park trailhead lot number seven on 14th Street.
On Thursday, the Roper Park west parking lot near Third and Fairfield streets, and the Roper Park east parking lot at Seventh and Adams streets will close for gravel resurfacing.
The projects are expected to be completed by Oct. 10.
Park users are recommended to park in the neighborhood at Third and Fairfield streets near the west entrance.
You can also park at Judson and Groveland streets for the east park.
