Three men injured in crash after assaulting man with shovel in Omaha, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Three men were seriously injured in a crash after they assaulted a man outside of a home in Omaha, police say.
Before 12:20 a.m., a 28-year-old man approached three men who were leaving trash in front of his house near 32nd Avenue and Vinton Street.
Jarrell Milton, 20, Jaymiracle Milton, 23, and Javion Milton, 23, then started punching and hitting the victim with a shovel, police say.
As the men drove off, they hit the victim with the car, according to police.
Later on, while officers were at the home, the vehicle drove by.
An officer tried to pull over the vehicle, but the driver sped off, according to police.
Eventually, officers in an Omaha Police helicopter saw the vehicle crash at North 30th Street and Highway 75.
All three men were then taken to the Nebraska Medical Center. Jarrell and Jaymiracle are in critical condition, while Javion is in serious condition, police say.
An investigation is ongoing.
