Three Nebraska soccer players named Big Ten players to watch; preseason poll released

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Big Ten Conference named three Nebraska soccer players to a preseason watch list.
Reagan Raabe, Lauryn Anglim and Sadie Waite were named Big Ten Preseason Players to Watch, the conference announced Monday.
Raabe — a midfielder and forward — makes her return in 2025 after being injured during the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
She was a member of the All-Big Ten third team in 2021 and 2022.
The graduate student has started 43 games in her career and amassed 10 goals and eight assists for a total of 28 points.
Anglim, a defender, has been a consistent presence in Nebraska’s lineup during her three years with the Huskers, starting 61 games.
She has scored three goals in her career and tallied 14 assists.
Anglim was named to the Big Ten All-Freshman team in 2022 and was a U20 World Cup member for Canada in 2024.
Waite has started 50 games for the Big Red and played in 55. She has logged seven goals with six assists.
The conference also released its preseason poll, ranking Nebraska at No. 12.
