Three thieves ran off with $11,000 in bags from Lincoln Dillard’s, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A trio of thieves escaped Saturday after stealing several bags from a Dillard’s store in Lincoln, police say.
Around 1:30 p.m., a man and two women entered the store near Cotner Boulevard and O Street.
The trio went to the purse section and asked an employee to see some bags that were locked behind a display.
Once the display was unlocked, the two women grabbed several bags and ran away, police said.
As the employee chased after them, the man took a few more bags and left the store.
Police said the thieves were seen leaving in a small sedan with no license plates.
In total, 11 bags – worth around $11,000 – were stolen.
