Overnight explosion at Lincoln soybean plant
According to Lincoln Fire & Rescue, a small explosion caused a fire at the ADM soybean processing plant near 73rd and N. Cotner.
The fire broke out just before 11:30 Thursday night.
The building’s fire suppression system put out most of the fire, and LFR was on scene to assist with hot spots.
Three workers were taken to the hospital, but LFR says their injuries are non-life threatening.
Fire inspectors are on scene investigating, and there is no damage estimate at this time.
