Today’s your last chance to register to vote online or by mail for Nebraska primaries

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Today, April 22nd, is the last day to register to vote by mail or online for the Nebraska state primaries.

Nebraskans who miss the deadline can register in person at their county’s election commission office.

Early in-person voting began on April 11 and will continue through the primary on May 10.

ID is not required unless you are a first-time voter who registered by mail.

Nebraskans will vote to determine their party’s candidates in the fall.

Up for election are seats in the U.S. House of Representatives, with candidates looking to replace Jeff Fortenberry after he was convicted of lying to federal authorities.
