LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Valuable pieces of Husker memorabilia were stolen from a business on Sunday, Lincoln Police say.

Officers discovered that the Devall Insurance Agency near 56th and South Streets was broken into on two separate occasions over the weekend.

On Friday, someone broke into the building’s back door but was unable to reach the office from that entrance, according to police.

They left the building without taking anything.

The same person came back on Sunday and reached the office by breaking into a porch window, police say.

A 1997 Orange Bowl commemorative watch, a Tom Osborne-signed mini helmet and an acoustic guitar were reported missing by the owner.

Police estimate damages to the building at $200 and the value of the stolen items at around $570.

An investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000.
