Top notch Tuesday in the works

We’re set up to have some fantastic weather on Tuesday. All the conditions are lining up for a pleasant afternoon, with a cooler start as temperatures dipped into the 40s around the area. It’ll have a similar feel to how Monday ended up, without the cloudy morning or fog to start the day.

Jess Day Planner Today Vertical

Temperatures should be on their way to the upper 60s through 11 a.m., which sets many up for enjoying this weather in any way you can. Highs should end up in the upper 70s overall.

Winds will be staying out of the way too, as pretty much a non-factor. They’ll be a bit more out of the east/southeast, but they’ll also be light enough to be variable in direction at times, with our high pressure overhead moving along. Skies should promote plenty of sun throughout the day.

Lincoln Today Wind Speed

While highs are in the 70s today, we’re looking at lower 80s heading into the rest of the week. Only looking to be a touch warmer day by day, with temperatures sliding back a bit for Friday.

4 Day Temperature Forecast

That’s because Friday is our next chance to see some rain, coming along a weak front that should move in early Friday for western Nebraska. Take the timing of this for now with a grain of salt as it’s still a few days away, but with a low-pressure system to our north sliding east late Thursday into Friday, that’ll be our next best shot to cross our fingers for more rain.

Jessica Stormcast Am 2

It looks like it’ll clear in time for the first Husker home game on Saturday, but we’ll keep you posted as we get closer. For now, enjoy the great days we have ahead!
