Traffic lights restored at south Lincoln intersection after recent crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Traffic lights at a south Lincoln intersection were restored Thursday after a crash earlier this week damaged them.

In an update from the Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department, officials announced that the signals at 16th and Old Cheney have been repaired.

On Tuesday, a traffic signal pole was hit by a vehicle involved in a crash at the intersection.

The intersection was a three-way stop until it was repaired.

The city thanked the public for its patience during the repair process.
