Trailer catches fire in north Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Several LFR crews battled a trailer fire Thursday morning in north Lincoln.

Lincoln Fire & Rescue responded to the area south of 33rd Street and Cornhusker Highway around 7:40 a.m.

A trailer caught fire just east of the silos.  The location made getting water on the flames difficult, LFR spokeswoman MJ Lierman said.

The challenge prompted the response of several LFR engines to the scene.

Two people were taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.

It’s unknown what caused the fire.
