Travel agencies already preparing for Huskers 2021 Ireland trip

“The musicians wander in and trickle in. One hour you’ve got someone come in with the fiddle, the next hour someone comes in with the next, they’ll join in and by the end of the night you’ll have a full band up there on stage playing. Everyone is singing and dancing and having a good time and that’s what makes Ireland,” travel agent Paul Glenn said.

It’s an experience that Husker fans will get to be apart of come August 28th, 2021 as Nebraska plays Illinois in Dublin, Ireland.

The news was announced Monday and fans are already reaching out to travel agents to secure their spot in Aviva Stadium.

Although the date may seem far away, spots are going to be limited so it’s suggested to start planning now.

“There’s going to be a lot of excitement. I think what the key is going to be is, if you have a good feeling that you’re going to want to go on this trip, you’re going to want to lock in your land space,” Glenn said.

Executive Travel is already beginning to plan packages that will give fans the chance to explore everything Ireland has to offer over a one week period.

Including, a number of cities that surround Dublin and staying at a few different hotels.

Glenn expects there to only be about 40 spots available.

Generally, plane tickets don’t become available until about a year before the trip, so you’ve got time to save up.

However, you might want to act fast, as this is going to be the trip of a lifetime.

“Being a lifelong Husker fan and being a travel aficionado, there’s not a trip that ties those two things together like this one,” Glenn said.

Executive Travel is still working out the fine details of the trip and hope to have it all completed by the end of the week for all the eager Husker fans out there.
