Lincoln police are busy this midday looking for 2 armed robbery suspects after they took advantage of a good Samaritan here in the capital city.
It happened around 11:30 Tuesday night near 19th and G streets.
Police say 2 men knocked on the 45 year–old victim’s door asking for ice… claiming they had been in a bad fight.
The victim let the men inside his home to get ice, when the men pulled out handguns and demanded his wallet.
The suspects got away with the wallet, as well as his cell phone and a laptop.
"We are still looking for two white males, both in their early twenties. One was about 6 foot tall with green eyes. The other was about 5–10 with blue eyes," said Officer Katie Flood with the Lincoln Police Department.
Police were able to use their K–9’s to track down the man’s wallet, but the suspects and other items have not been found.
