Trick-or-treaters head inside to avoid the cold

Everyone’s buckets were filled with an abundance of candy as every kid and even the parents were in the Halloween spirit Thursday night.

Gateway Mall had a mixture of trick-or-treaters for the chilly Halloween night.

There was no shortage of big smiles as kids got to fill up their buckets, bags and pillow cases with some of their favorite candies, and there was plenty to go around.

“We’ve probably had to refill this bucket, which is pretty big, at least five or six times,” Haley, a volunteer who passed out candy, said.

Many people said being able to trick or treat inside the mall gives kids the chance to really enjoy Halloween without having to worry about the cold.

We would love to see any good Halloween costumes that you wore or saw Thursday night. You can send them to our Channel 8 Facebook page!
