Around 12:40 p.m. Monday, a trooper tried pulling over a speeding Ford Fusion on Interstate 80 in north Lincoln.
But the driver – an 18-year-old from La Vista – refused to stop and continued heading west, according to the patrol.
About 30 minutes later, the teen rammed a trooper’s patrol car, causing both vehicles to roll on I-80 near Greenwood, the patrol said.
The trooper’s vehicle came to a stop in the median, and the other vehicle ended up in a ditch.
The driver was not injured in the crash. He was arrested on suspicion of several charges, including assaulting an officer using a motor vehicle.
