Troopers find 20 pounds of cocaine in traffic stop near York, patrol says
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A New Jersey man was caught Saturday with several pounds of cocaine near York, the Nebraska State Patrol says.
Around 12:15 p.m., a trooper pulled over a vehicle for speeding on Interstate 80, just east of York.
The trooper became suspicious of criminal activity and searched the vehicle, according to the patrol.
Authorities found 20 pounds of cocaine hidden in several compartments in the vehicle, the patrol said.
The driver, 40-year-old Pablo Suruy Hernandez, was arrested on suspicion of two felony drug charges.
