Troopers find drugs, 5 swords in I-80 stop

Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol found a variety of drugs – and swords – during a traffic stop Saturday, the agency said in a news release.
The stop occurred around 12:30 p.m. near Wood River, when a NSP K9 detected drugs inside a car.
A search of the vehicle yielded more than six pounds of marijuana, one gram of mushrooms, 78 grams of shatter, 2 grams of meth, and 43 grams of marijuana seeds, the release said.
Troopers also found five swords in the vehicle.
NSP said the driver, Kasey Miles, 43, of Yakima, Washington was arrested for possession of marijuana – more than one pound, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession with intent to deliver.
