Truck driver cited in crash with motorcycle in southeast Lincoln, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A box truck driver was ticketed after a crash with a motorcycle in southeast Lincoln on Wednesday, police say.

The crash happened around 9 a.m. at the intersection of 58th Street and Old Cheney Road.

On Thursday, police said a box truck was turning onto 58th when it struck an eastbound motorcycle on Old Cheney.

The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the box truck was uninjured and cited on suspicion of failure to yield.
