Tuesday Evening Weather Update – September 22
TONIGHT: Clear skies with fog developing overnight. Visibility may fall to less than a half mile at times for Wednesday morning’s commute. Temperatures will drop to the middle 50°s. Lincoln Low Temperature: 57°
WEDNESDAY: Fog could hang around through at least mid-morning. Low clouds could hang around through early afternoon, especially along and south of I-80. Look for mostly sunny skies by late afternoon. High temperatures will widely vary from southeast to north/northwest. Look for them to be in the upper 70°s to middle 80°s. Lincoln High Temperature: 79°
WARMEST IN 20+ YEARS
Temperatures will surge in the central United States ahead of a cold front Friday. Temperatures will likely reach the upper 80°s to lower 90°s in southeast Nebraska. I am currently conservatively forecasting a high of 88° in Lincoln. If the forecast verifies, this will be the warmest September 25 in 22 years! Stay tuned…
