Tuesday is National Voter Registration Day
The holiday takes place every fourth Tuesday of September.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – National Voter Registration Day is celebrated on the fourth Tuesday of September and aims to create awareness of voter registration opportunities.
Nearly 4.5 million people have registered to vote during the holiday since it’s observation began in 2012.
According to the 2020 U.S. Census, 1 in 4 eligible Americans are not registered to vote and find themselves unable to vote due to missing registration deadlines.
