Tuesday night storms in SW Nebraska- Warm week ahead

Tuesday night, a MARGINAL risk for severe weather is in place for SW Nebraska including McCook and North Platte. A few isolated storms could become severe with 60 mph winds and half dollar size hail or greater. Potential storm timing looks to be 3pm- midnight.

Storm cast shows isolated storms out in the sandhills this afternoon and taking a SSE track through this evening.

 

If you have any plans this evening off towards the east, temperatures will reach the lower 70s by 7pm under mostly clear skies and calm winds.
