Turning drier on Sunday
Saturday’s severe weather threat across southeast Nebraska is now over. Saturday’s storms were much weaker than Friday night’s storms, so for many, Saturday provided an additional boost in rainfall. We’ll keep an isolated storm chance for the remainder of Saturday evening. I do not think that severe weather will be an issue with these storms.
Clouds should remain overnight and there is a very small chance of a shower Sunday morning. Stormcast shows only a few green freckles on the radar, so these showers will be few and far between – most will remain dry in the morning!
By Sunday afternoon, skies will begin to clear and we’ll stay dry. Sunday afternoon will be a lovely day outside with highs in the upper 70s to around 80. In addition to the cooler temperatures, the humidity will also start to slowly drop off.
Monday looks to be another nice day. Mostly clear on Monday with highs in the low to mid-80s – plus lower humidity! Things will start to heat up on Tuesday however. Highs on Tuesday are back in the 90s and the humidity makes a return. This will set the stage for increased rain chances starting on Wednesday.
