Two accused of selling fentanyl, ecstasy at northeast Lincoln home
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people are facing several felony charges after investigators found copious amounts of drugs in a Lincoln home on Friday, court records say.
Around 6:40 p.m., investigators were surveilling a home near 56th and Fremont streets.
Stuart Howard, 57, was suspected of selling fentanyl pills at the home, according to an arrest affidavit.
A vehicle left the home, and investigators followed it until it stopped near 52nd and Fremont streets.
They searched the vehicle and found 21 fentanyl pills, 18 tramadol pills and drug paraphernalia, the affidavit alleges. Tramadol is an opioid painkiller.
The two people inside the car were taken into custody.
Around 8:40 p.m., Howard left the home, and authorities saw him meet with an unknown person and “conduct a hand to hand drug deal,” according to the affidavit.
Investigators found Howard in a parking lot near 48th and O streets with a small amount of marijuana and $1,255.

Later on, a search warrant was served at the home, where Howard lived with 26-year-old Taneal Reynolds, the affidavit says. Three children also lived at the home.
Authorities found a bag of crushed fentanyl pills and a glass methamphetamine bong in a children’s room, according to the affidavit.
Investigators found several drugs – including 39 oxycodone pills, 12 ecstasy pills and eight fentanyl pills – in the kitchen and Howard’s bedroom, court records say.
Officers also discovered $3,900 in suspected drug sale profits in a dresser.
Howard and Reynolds were taken into custody. Both were charged Monday with several felonies, including child abuse.
A Lancaster County judge set Howard’s bond at $1 million. He must pay $100,000 to be released from jail.
Reynolds’ bond was set at $850,000, and she must pay $85,000 to be released.
The state removed the three children from the home.
