Two arrested for child abuse after drugs found in Lincoln home

Two people were arrested for child abuse and drug charges after investigators found more than a pound of marijuana in a Lincoln home.

Around 8:30 Tuesday night, investigators with the Lincoln Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force served a search warrant to the home at 6024 Knox Street, where a police spokeswoman said they found 654 grams of marijuana (about 1.4 pounds), 22 grams of THC concentrate, prescription pills, suspected cocaine residue, drug paraphernalia, and cash.

Two children, ages two and six, were in the home at the time, Officer Angela Sands said.

Trenton Hubbard, 21, and Madalynn Hall, 21, were both arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver,  and child abuse.

The children were turned over to family members, Sands said.
