LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two men were arrested last week after an armed bank robbery earlier this year in an eastern Nebraska village.

The Saunders County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday that Bruce Dortch and Dontae Orduna, both from Omaha, were taken into custody on March 12.

They have since been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges relating to the robbery at Community State Bank in Cedar Bluffs on January 14.

The two men used handguns to force bank employees into the vault and took off with an undisclosed amount of cash, the sheriff’s office said.

Investigative work by the sheriff’s office and the Nebraska DMV Fraud Unit helped identify a vehicle involved in the robbery.

The information led the FBI to identify both of the suspects, according to the sheriff’s office.
