Two arrested in armed vehicle robbery in eastern Nebraska, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people were arrested Wednesday in an armed vehicle robbery in Fremont, police say.
Around 1:30 a.m., officers received a report that a Subaru Legacy was stolen in an armed robbery.
Officers started patrolling the area for the Subaru and another SUV involved in the theft, police said.
Eventually, officers found both vehicles, but the drivers took off, according to police.
The pursuit of the SUV ended in a crash near the Platte River bridge. The driver was flown to a hospital to be treated for their injuries.
Officers later found the Subaru Legacy at “another location,” police said.
Samuel Fatica, 20, was arrested on suspicion of robbery and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.
A 17-year-old has also been charged on suspicion of third-degree assault, robbery and theft.
