Bond set at $1 million for two charged in shooting at north Lincoln gas station

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people appeared in court Friday on charges stemming from a shooting at a north Lincoln gas station last month.
A Lancaster County judge set bond at $1 million for both Dreyce Bogan, 18, and Bradley Dennis, 21.
On Sept. 7, a woman was shot in the back at Kwik Shop near 33rd and Holdrege streets. She was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Video surveillance showed Bogan firing a rifle toward the Kwik Shop, according to an arrest affidavit.
Bogan arrived at the gas station in a red sedan, which was driven by Dennis, the affidavit says.
After the shooting, Dennis drove off and picked up Bogan, who had run through a nearby alley, the affidavit alleges.
Arrest warrants were issued for Bogan and Dennis on Sept. 12.
They were taken into custody on Sept. 19 in Georgia, then extradited to Nebraska.
Each are charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm, discharging a firearm near a building and using a firearm to commit a felony.
They are due back in court Nov. 14.
