Two caught in string of Omaha robberies involving ‘Michael Myers’ mask
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people were arrested Wednesday after an investigation into a rash of robberies in south-central Omaha, police say.
On Monday evening, officers responded to several robbery calls involving a person driving a silver sedan and wearing a “Michael Myers’ mask.
Police said the person in the mask was assaulting victims with a hammer before robbing them.
On Wednesday, officers found the vehicle near 126th and A streets. Police said 20-year-old Jorden Payne and a 17-year-old girl were taken into custody.
Both were arrested on suspicion of robbery and attempted robbery.
