Two found with meth, marijuana in vehicle at Lancaster County lake, deputy says

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lancaster County deputies found drugs and a machete inside a vehicle southwest of Lincoln on Saturday.

Chief Deputy Ben Houchin said Christopher Fleming, 35, and Allyssa Dean, 22, were in the vehicle, which was parked at Yankee Hill Lake.

Around 1:15 a.m., a deputy approached the duo’s vehicle and smelled marijuana coming from inside, according to Houchin.

During a search, deputies found 16.5 grams of marijuana, 9 grams of meth, numerous pipes, a machete and drug paraphernalia.

Dean and Fleming were arrested on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and narcotics.

Houchin said Fleming was also cited on suspicion of possessing a concealed weapon and possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.
