Two guns stolen from vehicles in east Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Two guns were stolen from vehicles last weekend on the eastern edge of Lincoln, police say.
The Lincoln Police Department said a 9 mm Glock handgun was taken near 88th Street and Touchdown Drive.
Then, about 3.5 miles to the south, a 9 mm Sig Sauer was stolen near 85th Street and Tralee Road.
Police said that in one case, the thief broke the vehicle’s window. In the other, the vehicle was accidentally left unlocked.
LPD said you should not leave valuables in your vehicle.
