Two houses hit by gunfire in northwest Lincoln, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two houses were shot at Wednesday night in a northwest Lincoln neighborhood, police say.
Just before 8:45 p.m., officers were sent to Northwest 48th and West Adams streets on a report of gunshots.
Officers arrived and found that two homes had been hit with bullets, police said.
A window on one house was struck, which caused damage to an interior wall, according to LPD.
The other house was hit twice on an exterior wall, damaging an interior wall.
Officers found “multiple” spent casing shells in the street, police said.
An investigation is ongoing.
