Two injured in motorcycle crash in Gage County

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people were injured Sunday afternoon in a crash in rural Gage County, the sheriff’s office says.

The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. on Highway 77 and Highway 41, just south of Cortland.

The sheriff’s office said a motorcycle was heading north when it went around a curve, went off the road and flipped.

The driver, a 66-year-old man from Lincoln, was flown to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The passenger, a 66-year-old woman from Lincoln, was taken to Bryan West in Lincoln.  The extent of her injuries is unknown.

Investigators do not think alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
