Two injured in shooting at party in Omaha, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Omaha Police have begun an investigation Monday into a shooting that left two men hospitalized.

Around 1:30 a.m., officers were sent to the University of Nebraska Medical Center after two men, ages 21 and 22, arrived with gunshot wounds.

The victims had injuries that were not life-threatening, according to police.

When officers spoke with the victims, they gave “little information” about what had happened, police say.

Investigators think the shooting happened at a party but are unsure of where it was located.

An investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call Omaha Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP.
