Two injured in three-car crash near southeast Lincoln cemetery

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Three vehicles crashed at the intersection of 40th and L streets on Thursday afternoon.

First responders were called to the scene of an injury accident just after 1:15 p.m.

Nine units were on the scene.

Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is still unknown.

The crash happened outside of Calvary Catholic Cemetery, where a funeral was being held about 40 feet from the collision.

The intersection was closed down but has since been cleared and reopened.
