Two Lincoln men, Lincoln woman arrested after traffic stop in Waverly

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lancaster County Sheriff’s office arrested two Lincoln men and a Lincoln woman on Saturday after a traffic stop in Waverly.
Around 4 p.m., a deputy pulled over a silver van near 143rd and Guildford streets for a broken brake light.
When the deputy walked up to the car, he smelled marijuana and searched the vehicle, according to Chief Deputy Ben Houchin.
The search revealed small amounts of marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, Houchin said.
The driver, 23-year-old Moises Fajardo, and two passengers — 56-year-old Todd Roepke and 38-year-old Rae McCoy — were all arrested.
When Roepke got to jail, a search of his pockets revealed cocaine and 65 Xanax pills, according to Houchin.
He was lodged in the Lancaster County Jail on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Fajardo was also booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
McCoy was arrested on a warrant.
