LPD: Two men arrested with meth at Lincoln hotel
Police arrested two men Wednesday for being in possession of meth after a drug bust at the Red Roof Inn.

Lincoln Police have arrested two Lincoln men after they fled from officers and attempted to hide in a hotel.
Thursday evening, investigators observed a car with fictitious license plates at the Red Roof Inn on north 26th street. The driver of the vehicle was known to police as 40-year-old William Schippert.
Schippert was speaking to people in another vehicle when officers attempted to contact him. Schippert and two other men and a woman fled the vehicles into the hotel.
While being taken into custody, officers found over 10 grams of meth, self-sealed baggies, a digital scale and a pipe on Schippert.
Another male, later identified as 40-year-old Kristian Hespen, was hiding from police in the vending area of the hotel. When Hespen was taken into custody, officers found over 12 grams of meth, hydrocodone, oxycodone, aprazolam and morphine pills with him as well as $400 in cash.
Schippert was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver. Hespen was arrested for four counts of possession of a controlled substance, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, and Possession Money while violating a Drug Law.
