Two pit bull puppies, pickup truck stolen at east Lincoln Chipotle, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A pickup truck, which had two pit bull puppies inside, was stolen in east Lincoln on Monday, police say.
Around 9:30 p.m., a 21-year-old man left his truck running while he went inside Chipotle near 70th Street and Pioneers Boulevard.
Police said two nine-week-old puppies were left inside the truck, which also had a trailer attached.
When the man came back outside, the truck and the puppies were gone.
Later on, officers recovered the trailer and some of the equipment.
But the puppies, which police estimate are worth $6,500, and the truck, worth around $18,000, are still missing.
