Two road closures in Lincoln starting Monday

Starting Monday, July 15th, at 8 a.m., sections of S. 40th St. and South Cotner Blvd. will be closed.

S. 40th between F and Randolph St. will be closed through Friday, July 19th, for storm sewer manhole replacement.

South Cotner Blvd. between Franklin and S. 48th St. will be closed through Friday, August 23rd, for water main replacement.

The sidewalk on the east side of S. Cotner Blvd will also be closed.

Digital signs will alert traffic to upcoming work and lane closures.

Drivers are encouraged to seek an alternate route.

Access to homes will be maintained.

Drivers are remind to use caution around work zones.
