Two taken to hospital after south Lincoln crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Two people were injured Monday in a crash in south Lincoln, police say.

The crash was reported about 3 p.m. at 56th Street and Yankee Hill Road.

Videos submitted to the NOW Local News App show two vehicles with heavy damage.

Two people were taken to a hospital, according to the Lincoln Police Department. The severity of their injuries is unknown.

Police think one of the drivers mistakenly hit the gas pedal instead of the brake.
