Two-vehicle crash in north Lincoln causes traffic light outage
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A two-vehicle crash in north Lincoln on Monday caused numerous traffic lights to go dark.
Just after 10 a.m., first responders were called to the intersection of 14th and Adams streets, right outside the Kwik Shop.
The Lincoln Police Department said one of the vehicles hit the signal box, causing the traffic lights to go out in all directions for a short period of time.
According to LPD, one person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
There is no word on what caused the crash.
LPD said the scene was cleared just after 11 a.m. and the traffic lights are now flashing red in all directions.
