Two-vehicle crash slows down traffic on Nebraska Parkway

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Traffic along Nebraska Parkway was at a standstill over the lunch hour Tuesday after a two-vehicle crash.

Crews responded to the crash at the intersection of Nebraska Parkway and Pioneers Boulevard around 12:30 p.m.

Lincoln Police then rerouted traffic north of the crash at Ninth and Van Dorn streets.

A Channel 8 reporter on the scene said there appeared to be two vehicles involved in the crash. One person had to be pulled from a vehicle.

At least two people were taken to a hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening, according to Lincoln Fire & Rescue.

It’s unclear how the crash happened.
